Optimism has it's place, but hoping for the best can prove to be a fatal mistake. This photo is a testament to that. Ed himself seemed truly happy, but beneath that smile was something much more painful. So to anyone suffering or to anyone who knows someone who suffers, take each moment seriously and know that things can change for the worse rapidly. That's why we need to open up honest conversation and ask for help when we need it... So that this doesn't have to be another family's tragedy.
